Ruth Ann Barrett was a resident of Old Town Chinatown in Portland, Oregon from 2013 to 2019.  This site was used to publish her blog, Ripples, and to promote the Old Town Dog Ballpark proposal (101dogspdx.com). There are documents one might find useful if advocating for affordable housing and other community issues and projects.

Portland's Caring Community is a positioning created for Old Town in keeping with its primary industry, healthcare, and the number of housing units dedicated to supportive and transitional housing units as well as shelters for the homeless.  The neighborhood is more generally known as the "entertainment district."
